Following 25 years in the transport industry, Daniel Jemmett took the decisive step of establishing JEM Logistics North West Limited. Starting with a small fleet and a clear set of values, JEM was built on independence, reliability and doing things the right way.
Several key team members who had followed Daniel from his previous venture joined the fledgling operation. Their experience and loyalty became the bedrock of the company’s culture. The fleet grew steadily as new contracts were won across the North West.
Continued growth in demand led to significant fleet investment. New vehicles including articulated lorries were added to the fleet, enabling JEM to tender for larger national contracts and serve clients with higher volume requirements.
JEM expanded its service offering beyond pure haulage with the addition of warehousing capabilities and refrigerated reefer vehicles. This allowed the company to serve food, beverage and pharmaceutical clients requiring full cold-chain logistics.
JEM Logistics achieved recognition as a trusted UK logistics partner, securing contracts with major household names including Asda, Kellogg’s and JD Sports. In-house MOT and maintenance facilities were established, cementing compliance as a core pillar.
JEM Logistics now operates a fleet of over 50 modern, fully maintained vehicles and continues to grow. With a team of professional CPC-qualified drivers, advanced GPS tracking across the entire fleet, and a relentless commitment to reliability, the best is yet to come.
